Purple Crystals These crystals have a wonderful purple color. This cluster originated in South America and would make an excellent table top. Mother Nature created these lovely specimens and their presence reminds us of her inspiration.

Trilobite Earrings and Pendant. These earrings and pendant are made from 500 million year old trilobites(Elrathia kingi, Utah, Cambrian) The frames are gold plated and are 18mm by 13mm.

Amber. This piece of amber is from the Dominican Republic. It contains a winged termite. Isoptera which is on of the largest in the world. It was the subject of a paper "Mastotermes electrodominicus" by Krishna &Grimaldi. This termite is featured with a photo in Natural History Magazine, June 1993 issue. DNA was extracted from this species.

Columbia Amber. This piece of Amber is from Colombia. This is only one of many pieces that we currently have in our inventory. The piece measures 4 inches by 1 3/4 by 1/2 inch. The Colombian amber is not quite as old as the Dominican material. This piece contains many insects:

1. Orthoptera: Gryllidae sub family Mogoplistinae; "Scaly Bush Cricket"
2. Hymenoptera: Formicidae; " worker ants"
3. Hymenoptera: Parasitica; "parasitic wasps several species"
4. Hymenaptua: Braconidae; "parsitic wasps"
5. Collembola: Springtails
6. Coleoptera: Staphylinidae; "Rove Beetle"
7. Coleoptera: Scolytidae (Xyleborus) Ambrosia Beetle
8. Diptera: Dolichopodidae; "long legged flies" 2 species
9. Diptera: Drosophilidae; "pomace flies" many
10. Diptera: Ceratopogonidae; "Punkies" no see ums
11. Diptera: Phoridae; "several humped-backed flies"

Amber Pendant. This particularly beautiful pendant is made of a large piece of choice Dominican amber. The mounting is 14kt yellow gold with a 0.05ct diamond accent. This piece of amber contains a stingless bee and a worker ant.

Amber Pendant. This piece of amber from the Dominican Republic is set in yellow gold. It has 8 diamonds. The included insect is Formicidae: winged ant.

Picture Jasper. Picture jasper is one of my favorite materials. Every scene is looks like a place you may have visited. They are truly miniature landscapes. This belt buckle is crafted in sterling silver and handmade. The buckle is 3 inches long and 1 7/8 inches wide. This particular stone would be classified as "Owyhee Scenic Jasper".

Jasper Bola. Bolas seem to becoming accepted as substitutes for ties, in some circles anyway. When I look into this jasper I feel like I am in the Midwest. The frame measures 2 1/2 inches long and 1 7/8 wide. It is sterling silver and signed by M. Fowler.

Belt Buckle. The Dahl brothers of Idaho are famous for there belt buckles. They are made in limited numbers and somewhat difficult to find. The stone is Owyhee Scenic Jasper and set in solid brass. The jasper is set in Desert Ironwood. A belt buckle like this would surely become a prize possession for anyone.

Belt Buckle. This is another amazing belt buckle made by the Dahl brother of Idaho. The`material is "Crazy Lace Agate" set in Desert Iron wood. The buckle itself is solid brass. We have acsess to a few more of these buckles if you would like.

Jade This picture shows 3 unusual pieces of jade. A & C are fashioned in the Mauri style. The Mauri are a group native Australians who have been using jade for utilitarian purposes for many years. These pieces are stylized designs of utilitarian items. In this case fish hooks. The centerpiece B is an unusual mottled green piece, which was most likely cut in the orient.
