Amethyst Ring A large amethyst cabochon is the central focus of this unusual ring. The top is Victorian and chased and repousse’. Repousse’ is a technique in which the pattern is hammered in relief from the back. The shank appears to have been added later. The top of the ring is 1 ¾” x 1 ¼” and the amethyst is 5/8” x 3/8”. The top is 1880 and the shank from the 1940’s. The shank is 14kt yellow gold, the top is higher karat.

Cameo Ring The ring has an interesting inscription engraved on the sides. It says “L home prose dieu dispose”. The translation is Man proposes God disposes. The mounting is 14kt yellow gold.
I would be curious who would own a ring like this and why they needed to be reminded constantly. The cameo seems to have been replaced and not quite as old as the ring. Circa 1880/1890

Pearl Necklace Avery large mabe pearl is the central focus of this exceptional pearl necklace. The cultured pearls are between 8mm and 9mm. There are 97 pearls, which have good luster and are well matched. The pearls are crème color and are somewhat mottled.
The large mabe pearl is accented with six diamonds. The mounting and findings are 14kt yellow gold.
