This turn of the century cameo is beautifully carved. The artisan has skillfully attained a real work of art. The hint of orange of the conch shell, in the hair and the bodice are very subtle. Unfortunately a small crack and some age crazing blemish this lovely cameo (top Left). It measures 2 ¼” x 1 ¾” and is a pin pedant combination. The mounting is 14kt yellow gold and is embellished with a strand of seed pearls. Circa 1900
