This Victorian cameo is carved conch shell. The artisan has used the different colors of the shell to create a lovely tri color contrast. This type of carving is referred to as blush. The Goddess in this high quality cameo is quite striking. It measures 2 ¼” x 1 3/4” and is a pin pendant combination. The multi pronged setting is 12kt yellow gold. Circa 1900
