 Black Opal Free Form Ring Many people come into my store looking for black opals, most of the time they do not realize what a true black opal is. A natural black opal has a black body color throughout the stone. This opal has an excellent play of color in the blues, greens and oranges, it has no voids, extinctions, or crazing. In the center of this particular opal, is an opalized vein is not crazing and is natural to the stone. The mounting is 14kt yellow gold and in a free form design.

Sapphire Ring It seems strange to see these lovely sapphires set in silver. This is a classic temple style Princess Ring. There are 40 natural sapphires and one synthetic in the center. The approximate total weight in natural sapphires is 2.00cts. The center stone weighs approximately 0.60cts. The silver mounting creates a traditional ethnic style ring.

Victorian Snake Ring During the Victorian period the snake ring was very popular. Edward gave one as an engagement to queen Victoria. It was thought to be a protector and bring luck to the owner. The entwined serpents are rose and yellow gold. Garnet and seed pearls create the illusion of the serpents head. Circa 1890.
