Toothbrush Holder The dish is a tooth brush holder. It is British and is in excellent condition. The tray measures 7 ¼” x 3 ½”. The design of the tray is very useful, as the brushes sit atop a ridge for proper drainage. The porcelain is a blue and white and beautifully decorated. Circa 1880

Vase The vase is hand blown and has a passionate purple color. The snake rigarie is a contrasting greenish yellow. The snake is always a symbol of the forbidden. The snake theme makes one wonder about the purpose of this very special vase. Circa 1920

Potpourri Holder The pine cone is Roseville. These were used to hold potpourri. The fragrance from the dried flowers would help to keep errant smells at bay in the home. It is interesting that today we have many small devices to accomplish the same task. Circa 1931
