Serpent PinThe serpent was a recurring theme during the Victorian era. The serpent was supposed to
help to ward off bad luck. This pin is brass and early Victorian. It seems the serpent in this case
was protecting this Victorian couple. Circa 1870
Buckle PinAs the clothing styles changes and the waist became accentuated, buckles became very
popular. The buckle theme was found in rings broaches and bracelets. The buckle pin is 14kt
yellow gold and is set with a seed pearl and enameled for added emphasis. Circa 1890
Large Vintage Cameo This Vintage conch shell cameo is a glimpse into a gentler time. Two
young maidens are sitting casually chatting. The artist has captures the feeling to perfection.
The bezel is 14kt yellow gold and is a pin pendant combination. It is a large cameo and measure
2 ¾” x 2”. Circa 1940
Garnet PinTourist jewelry was the rage during the Victorian period. Wherever they went little
treasures was acquired as a memento of the trip. This locket is German and encrusted with garnets.
The material is silver and has been gilded with gold. Circa 1890
Edwardin Bar Pin This classix Edwardin pin features one square shaped Saphire and two
triangle shaped Saphires. The broachis 14kt white gold and measures 2in. in overall length. Circa 1910
Victorian Ruby Stick PinThis is the type of stickpin your grandpa would have worn. It is
Victorian and set with a cabochon agate with a ruby set in the gold star. Stick pin make excellent
collar accessories for executive women, bring a little sparkle in the board room. Circa 1890
Vintage Diamond Earrings These diamond earring are old European cut, they wheigh
0.30 &0 .35 respectively. Their clarity is SI3 and the color is I/J. The mountings are
14kt yellow gold buttercups. These earrings have screwback posts.
Victorian PinQueen Victoria was quite taken with Scotland and spent the summers at Bal-Moral.
She and many Victorian collected everything Scottish. This original agate pin is an example of one
that would have been brought back from a vacation in Scotland. It is sterling silver and made in
the Etruscan style. Circa 1880
Picture PinThese vintage daguerreotype pictures are glimpse of the not so distant past. In their day
these photos were considered the cutting edge of technology. The models would have to sit still for
long periods of time. They could not download the pictures and send them all over the word with
touch of a key. The mounting is 12kt yellow gold and is set with pearls and cabochon turquoise. Circa 1870
Mosaic PinThe brass frame for this micro mosaic is very ornate. In addition to a braided frame,
gallery wire sets the mosaic. It measures 1 3/8” x 1 1/8”. These moics have become a reasonable
way to collect a piece of history. Circa 1890/1900
Mosaic Pin This eight sided micros mosaic measures 1 7/8” x 1 3/8” is set in brass. The floral center is
surrounded by scallops of mixed glass pieces. Some of ? pieces are quite unusual. The condition
is excellent and would an great addition to any Victorian collection. Circa 1900
Mosaic PinThis micro mosaic is quite special. In addition to the excellent glass work a conch shell
cameo is set in the center. The oval shaped pin measures 1 7/8” x 1 3/8” and is set brass. During the
Victorian period many archeological excavations were taking place in Italy and these Roman influenced
souvenirs were very popular with Victorian tourists.
Mosaic PinThis classic Victorian bar pin is 15kt yellow gold. A old mine cut diamond is set in
the center. The design is Etruscan influenced and shows the use of granulation (Small round beads)
These pins were and an example of the interest Victorians had with past and excavations during this
period. Circa 1880
Siam Pin I have had quite a few of these old "Siam" pins in the past. Recently they have become a little
more difficult to find. The technique is called Niello. The designs were engraved and the bright
silver shows through. The dancers are a classic theme for these types of pins. It is in original condition
but could be repolished to high luster. Circa 1940
Pin This pin is Victorian and in original condition. It 9ct yellow gold. This type of design is usually
referred to as Hollowware. The jeweler has created a wonderful treasure. A jeweled flower is the
central focus of this unique pendant. The piece measures 1 3/4"x 1 3/8". It is quite old. Circa 1880
Victorian Circle Pin A decorative Victorian circle pin crafted in 14kt yellow gold. Seed pearls
encircle a mesh strip. The wreath is hand engraved and accented in black enamel. The pin has
is 1 inch in diameter.
Antique Cresent Pin Antique crescent pin set in 10kt yellow gold. These pins were extremely
popular during the Victorian period. The style of clothes lent itself to the use of these lovely pins.
The pearls are prong set. This pin is 1 1/2” long.
Crescent Pin Old cut diamonds make up this classic crescent pin. A shining star is offset. It is in
its original condition. The diamonds are pave' and the mounting is 12kt yellow gold. The Victorians
were very interested in the discoveries in astronomy, and these pins indicated that interest. The pin is
quite long and measures 2 1/2". It has an extra safety pin. Circa 1870
Seed Pearl Pin I think wispy would be a good way to describe this pin. Seed pearls are set in the leaves
and natural zircons make up the rest of the dainty flower. The bar pin is 2" in length and is 9ct yellow gold.

Vintage Pin Turquoise is as popular today as it was during the Victorian period. Then it was Persian
and today it Native American. The pin is in original condition and is 18kt gold. A diamond is set in
the center of this turquoise flower. The pin measures 1 3/4" in total length. Circa 1890
