This is a very rare and unusual cameo. The conch shell cameo is surrounded by rosettes of seed pearls which are attached to a mother of pearl base. The bezel is 14kt yellow gold and is a pin pendant combination. It measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/2". Victorian influences are seen in the simple Greek face and laurel wreath in the hair. Circa 1900.
